University of Manitoba - Open to students, faculty and community members with locations on both the Fort Gary and Bannatyne Campuses.

University of Winnipeg - The Bill Wedlake Fitness Centre located within Duckworth Centre downtown is open to students, faculty and community members.

Wellness Institute - A medical fitness facility located at the Seven Oaks General Hospital dedicated to improving the health of the community through health promotion, disease prevention and rehabilitation services.

Trails

Cross-Country Ski Trails - Find urban ski trails, hours, amenities and trail conditions

Winnipeg Trails Association - Winnipeg has over 35 trails perfect for walking, running or wheeling. Get out and discover all of the beauty that our city has to offer.

Walking Groups

Mall Walking - There are a variety of mall walking groups across Winnipeg. Please check at the customer service desk at your local mall for details on what they offer.

Prairie Pathfinders - A formal walking group that offers weekly walking within Winnipeg and hikes throughout Manitoba. There is a fee to join but you can try it out free of charge.

St. Vital Walk-on Energizers - Membership is free and walks are scheduled from April to December. The group meets Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Vital Duck Pond. The first Tuesday of each month the group walks at a different location. Contact Sharon Cave at 204-254-0173 for more information.

Windy City Wanderers - Weekly groups walks at 9:30 a.m. Sundays all year round. Each walk has a 5km and 10 km option.
