Why get in motion
Older Adults 65+

Physical activity can improve your health and wellbeing at all ages. Check out the 23 ½ hours video (it's only 9.5 min) from Canada's own Dr. Mike Evans!
Here are our favourite reasons for older adults to get "in motion":
- It's Social - joining a local group or a weekly walk with a friend is a great way to keep in touch.
- It's Good For Your Mind - regular physical activity can help to prevent dementia and alzheimers.
- It Can Prevent Falls - physical activity helps make you stronger, fitter and more coordinated. This makes it less likely that you will have a fall.
